Google launched a new
Street View app that adds user generated spherical photos to places in Google Maps.
This
replaces Google's previous
Photo Sphere Camera app, allows you to browse 360-degree photos of places in Google Maps or shoot and share your own.
Street View app for
Android and
iOS, which allows you for the first time, to tour immersive 360-degree imagery and instantly contribute your own — right to Google Maps.
Street View is also
compatible with 360-degree cameras.
Once you've shot your photos you can keep them private or
share them to Google Maps.
Google will review user submitted photos — primarily to
ensure the images are of actual places, not people.
